The Wednesday Play: Embrace Failure

Recognize that failures are the foundation to your ultimate success.

Hi Playmakers,

Last week, I talked about taking big swings. But here’s the thing no one tells you about big swings: sometimes, you miss.

This week, I stumbled. Something I really cared about didn’t go the way I hoped. And while my instinct was to brush it off and keep moving, I paused instead — because failure, as uncomfortable as it is, is also where the magic happens.

Failure teaches. It humbles. It sharpens. It reminds us that we’re in the arena, trying. And honestly? I’ll take a thousand stumbles over standing still.

So if you’ve recently fallen short, fumbled, or flopped — good. It means you’re in motion. It means you’re brave enough to care about the outcome.

Let this week’s newsletter be your permission slip to fail forward.

Let’s dive in.

As always, drop me a line and tell me what you think!
